I picked up Cashew nut and I was expecting my hair to look something like the second picture, maybe a little darker as my hair doesn’t take dye that well..
Anyway onto the product.. The fruity scent was definitely present as soon as I opened the box it was just as described, fresh and fruity, but once applied onto my hair you do get the classic hair dye smell. And the length of time this takes to work is also a little let down, it takes 25minutes, and 35 for it to cover a lot of gray or resistant hair..
I left it on for 40minutes just to be extra sure that it’d work on my hair and this is the result..
It’s definitely not the colour on the box but there is a slight red-ish tinge to my hair, with it seeming to be most obviously red at my roots (typical). In daylight I don’t think my hair looks different even after a few washes with the darkness washing off..
Overall I do quite like my colour at the moment as it is very subtle and the colour shows up really nicely with flash photographs and on nights out but during the day it’s a bit of a disappointment really!
Have any of you tried this hair dye?
How did you get on?! xx
P.S I'm 18 tomorrow!!! :)

I am a big fan of Garnier! Love that color!
Hope you'll have a perfect weekend!
xoxoxo
I've been disappointed eith most Garnier hair dyes as the brown fades super quickly on me, the reds just don't show or turn out to be orange... I like their blacks with a hint of color like purple, red or blue, but now I shy away from black because of the damage.
It sucks that the results on your hair is never the same result as on the box! Hate that -_-
I really like the colour! I never trust the colour on the boxes, whenever I use a dye I either end up black or orange dependent on if I pick a lighter or darker hair dye, I just trust my hair dresser now after many home disasters! :)
Happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely day! :D
my hair NEVER turns out like the box :)
As of today, happy belated birthday! xx
@Choux and Gaby thanks for your suggestions - defiantely going to look into what you said!

The color looks pretty on the picture :) Pity that it is not what you expected.
I want to do my hair to one day, but I'm alway nerves. What if it is not what you wanted :P

I love your hair color!
I have never dyed my hair before, I'm too scared to!
I always used to colour my hair myself but found the colour always faded too quickly so now I rely on my gorgeous hairdresser Bruno! XX
I've learnt not to trust home dyes! I tried to colour my hair brown myself once and ended up with black that never washed out! (it was supposed to be a 28-wash dye!) I ended up having to bleach my hair twice to get it back to blonde, and now my hair is horribly damaged! :( <3
The new hair colour looks great on you:)
GREAT !!!!

It is subtle but you now have a nice sheen from what the photo shows. Your post reminds me I need to blacken my hair again. I go for blue black as to get rid of brassiness. I wanted to go red forever but am afraid! XOXO
Happy belated birthday! =) Love your new hair color.
Love the colour, I need to dye my hair but cant decide on a colour. Happy Birthday for tomorrow.
Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a nice one. You look good with dark hair. :)

I really love this color.
(thank you so much for your nice comment yesterday!)
Your hair looks lovely. I have never dyed my hair before, so I can't say my thoughts on this product. But I think it is a rich hue on you - very pretty! :)
Your hair came out nice.:D
I've tried this brand and it's pretty good.:D
