Leopard Print NOTD

 I've been working all summer and consequently my nails are in pretty rubbish condition but I thought while they're still short I'd do a few posts on some super easy nail art that looks good on nails of any length. Leopard print has been done in pretty much every colour combination but this is probably my personal favourite as it's not 'too' bright but it still stands out. 

I used a black nail art pen I was trying out but, honestly, it was more trouble than it was worth. Using a cocktail stick or a nail art brush with some standard black polish works is much easier. Alternatively I know lots of people are using their liquid eyeliner to do designs (I've not tried that yet but I'll do a post on it soon)

Leopard Print EOTD

I haven’t done any eye make up recently & since I’ve been a little under the weather I didn’t really want to do a FOTD(face of the day) I just did some fun eye make up instead – hope you like!
I did a pretty gold and bronze eye –which I wore out on Sunday- and then using a felt tip eyeliner (the prices of these vary from Elf’s at £1.50 to Lancôme’s at £20) and just drew on some leopard spot and kept the actually eyeliner on my lash liner nice and simple.
I took these photos just before I took my eyelash extensions off – there will hopefully be a little review on what I though of the eyelash extensions sometime in the next week!

NOTD Leopard

I did this for New Year and I figured I’d share the nail art with you as it’s incredibly simple and quick so anyone can do it.I applied a coat of Estee lauder ‘Frozen Fantasy’ (just because it’s one of the only brown polishes I own) and then put a light layer of Barry M’s ‘Gold’. Obviously you can make the background as glittery as you like – I know a few people who don’t normally wear polish wanted something a little more muted and have done a similar look with just a plain brown background! Then I just used my dotting tool to ‘dot’ on the leopard print :)
