Strawberry Libertine NOTD

This is another little nail art post, I’ve got some reviews and some other different types of posts already written but I’m trying to save them for exam season!
I picked up Rimmel’s Strawberry Libertine on Saturday as I’m in a bit of a pink mood at the moment, anyway I tried it out straight away and I really love it. Rimmel polishes, although not the best in colour range, have an amazing consistency and a really thick brush so it’s incredibly easy to apply – definitely going to be picking up more Rimmel polishes in the future!

I just did a simple, thin black strip on each nail and dotted white polish along the line to create an amazingly simple and quick nail art which I really like as it’s quite subtle and pretty :)

Let me know what you think of Rimmel Polishes and this nail art!

Hope you’ve enjoyed!! x

STRAWBERRY NOTD

It’s officially the British Summer Time now the clocks have gone forward(although I still class this time of year as spring..) But that’s a great excuse to start wearing bright colours and doing cute little looks like this…STRAWBERRIES :)

For this, Just paint your nails red(or pink if you prefer), I used Revlon’s ‘Revlon Red’ which is completely opaque after one coat!
Once that’s dry, apply a few little white dots, I used Barry M’s Matte White..
Then do three(or four if you want) green dots, I used Barry M Spring Green at the top of your nail, then slowly smudge it down so it looks like you’ve got little leaves!
so long as you take your time you can do it on both hands :)
Hope you’ve enjoyed!! x

NOTD - Vintage

Vintage Polish From Eyeko

I bought this little polish in the ASOS mid-season sale after seeing it appear on nearly every blog and channel to see what all the fuss was about and… I LOVE it :)

As far as application goes, it’s a tiny bit streaky & seemed a little watery on the first coat but after the second you get a gorgeous opaque coat. It took a little longer than Revlon and Barry M to dry, much not by much..

But the real clincher for me was the first day I wore it I got 3 lovely compliments on the colour and then today I got loads of people asking what I was wearing. In pictures and online I’ve got to admit I didn’t think it looked THAT special however in person, it really is a very unique colour & is definitely going to be one of my favourites!

-especially because I think you can get away with this quite light shade in fall and winter because of the vintagey undertones :)

-It’s love :D
