Nail Polish Collection

I love looking at these, there's just something interesting about seeing what someone has, and, more importantly, how they store it!
My nail varnish collection used to fill the top two drawers and now it fills around half of one and I'm so much happier about what I have. I hung on to tons of polishes in case I needed that crazy tangerine shade for a nail art look. But in reality I only used those colours once or twice and year and they simply weren't worth keeping when they clogged up my storage and stopped me being able to see the colours that I really loved using.

Like with my make up clear out I still have a few things I want to use up but I'm pretty damn happy with what I've got!

I recently put a dab of each polish on the lids and I'm not 100% happy with it, as although it's really practical for some polishes (like the Models Own packaging) I just don't think it looks pretty.

PawPrint NOTD

I’ve been meaning to do this look for a while and the other day after applying a coat of OPI’s Rumple’s wiggin’ I thought it was the perfect colour to do some paw prints across :)
I really love it, it’s cute and actually really simple as it’s just lots of little black dots!
If you want to recreate this look simply paint your nails what ever colour you prefer (think this looks best of pastels as it just makes the look really sweet) then apply medium sized dots where you want the paw prints to be.. (these will be the soles or pads!)
Then try and do three smaller dots at the top of each circle to get your finished paw print!

I wouldn’t recommend doing paw prints all over the nails just because that might be too much and a little tip – take your time with these dots!

Will any of you be trying this look out?? Hope you’ve enjoyed!! x

What's with the Cattitude?

I recently picked up a mini set of OPI’s Shrek collection and I couldn’t wait to try them out so expect a few NOTD’s featuring Shrek OPI polishes!
This is What’s with the Cattitude and is described as 'a moody light blue that's really a pussycat' .
My first thoughts when I saw this was it’s a mix between Eyeko’s rain polish and barry M’s turquoise, and both of those are very similar but this is somewhere in the middle. It’s not as bright as a turquoise so you can wear this during in winter no problem but it’s not got as much gray nor is it as soft as Eyeko’s rain. It’s the perfect balance.
I also love how this looks with my fair skin tone. I was a little surprised at the formula as I expected OPI to be really easy to work with but the first coat was scarily streaky however after the third coat you suddenly end up with an opaque, streak free finish!
I think I’ll be wearing this one a lot of in spring, what do you think of this colour? And what do you think of OPI’s formulation??
